The meeting was organized to further connect the consortium partners, to jointly review the work underway in the different cities and the results already achieved.  <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>The AfriFOODlinks project aims to &#8221; <em>Transform Africa&#8217;s urban food environments by strengthening links between food system stakeholders in African and European cities<\/em> &#8220;. More than 65 towns and 26 organizations are involved. This project is funded by the European Union for a period of 4 years (December 2022 to November 2026).<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><figure id=\"attachment_21587\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-21587\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-21586\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inadesformation.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Afri-Foodliks-3-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.inadesformation.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Afri-Foodliks-3-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.inadesformation.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Afri-Foodliks-3-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.inadesformation.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Afri-Foodliks-3-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.inadesformation.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Afri-Foodliks-3.jpg 1258w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-21587\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><em>The Director of Inades-Formation Burkina, Isidore DELLA, took part in the meeting.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/p>\n<p>The AfriFOODlinks consortium meeting in Kisumu provided a forum for mutual learning between the project&#8217;s <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through\">participating<\/span> towns, and laid the foundations for project monitoring and evaluation. Over the course of five days, the hundred or so participants enjoyed a wealth of experiences through various events, moments of creativity, sharing and discovery. The meeting was punctuated by panels, plenary sessions, closed-door meetings, visits to markets and supermarkets, as well as peri-urban farming and composting processing sites.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>In the Burkina Faso delegation at the AfriFOODlinks consortium meeting in Kisumu, the Director of Inades-Formation Burkina was alongside representatives from the city of Ouagadougou, AFP\/APME, ADEU, the Institut de Recherche en Sciences Appliqu\u00e9es Technologie (IRSAT) and Rikolto.
