From September 20 to 23, 2023, Inades-Formation C\u00f4te d’Ivoire is organizing workshops <\/strong> in Daloa and Bouakaman to launch the project to promote agroecological practices by strengthening community innovation and learning circles <\/strong>(2PA-CILAC) .<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong>The project (2PA-CILAC) is implemented by Inades-Formation C\u00f4te d’Ivoire under an agreement with the Association R\u00e9seau International Formation Agricole Rurale (ARFAR).<\/p>\n

The overall aim of 2PA-CILAC is to contribute to the emergence of a new generation of farmers, well-trained and sustainably integrated into their environment. Specifically, the project aims to consolidate the Inades-Formation Network’s E-learning system by updating agroecological teaching tools, and to strengthen the capacities of CILACs with a view to promoting agroecological practices. <\/p>\n

It will be rolled out in Daloa in the center-west, Bouakaman in the center and Niell\u00e9 in the north of C\u00f4te d’Ivoire.<\/p>\n

The overall direct beneficiaries of the project are estimated at around 720 young agricultural producers, 30% of whom are women.<\/p>\n

These beneficiaries come from three cooperatives, some of which are members of the Cercles d’Innovations Locales et d’Actions Communautaires (CILAC) and a regional family farming platform (PANAF-CI). Active advisors and managers of Professional Agricultural Organizations (PAOs) will also benefit from the program.<\/p>\n

The aim of the launch workshops is to inform the administrative and customary authorities, MEMINADER’s services and to raise awareness of the project’s stakes among beneficiaries, in order to gain their full support.<\/p>\n

In Daloa, the presentation will take place at the Prefecture, followed by the launch of construction work on the building in the village of KRAMOUA.<\/p>\n

In Boukaman, the launch will be preceded by a presentation on the harmful effects of using chemical pesticides, followed by testimonials from CILAC members who took part in the Bokashi experiment.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
