This activity, which took place on October 31, 2024, aimed to raise awareness of the effects of climate change on health. It is part of the Health Resilience and Community Adaptability to the Impact of Climate Change (RSAClim) project.  <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mosquito proliferation due to stagnant water, an upsurge in diarrhoeal diseases and a drop in agricultural productivity were the main subjects addressed in the forum-theater performance. The various scenes played out were designed to show the links between human behavior, environmental degradation and people&#8217;s health.   <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><figure id=\"attachment_25588\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-25588\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-25587\" src=\"https:\/\/www.inadesformation.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/61-1-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.inadesformation.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/61-1-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.inadesformation.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/61-1-1024x682.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.inadesformation.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/61-1-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.inadesformation.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/61-1-1536x1023.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.inadesformation.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/61-1.jpg 1969w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-25588\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><em>The audience is attentive to the message conveyed by the theatrical performance<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This piece taught me a lot. I knew that the heat was increasing, but I wasn&#8217;t aware that it could lead to illness. Now I know I have to act to protect my family,&#8221; says Mariam Ou\u00e9draogo from the village of Boulma.  <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>As required by the principle of forum theater, spectators were invited to interact with the actors, asking questions and proposing concrete solutions to the problems posed. In this way, participants were directly involved in the search for solutions adapted to their own context, under the enlightened gaze of the health workers on site.   <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Boulma&#8217;s forum theater performance is part of the RSAClim project. Funded by Fondation S, this project aims to build community resilience to the impacts of climate change in ten villages in the commune of Yako.
