They are 20 multipliers supervised by INADES-Formation Cameroun, selected following a call for applications launched at the end of November as part of the dissemination activities of the P\u00f4le de Connaissances de l’agriculture biologique et de l’agro\u00e9cologie en Afrique Centrale (PCAC) project. <\/em><\/p>\n

Coming from the Centre, Extreme-Nord and Adamaoua regions, 20 micro-intervention holders, i.e. 09 women and 11 men supervised by INADES-Formation Cameroun, took part in the micro-intervention launch workshop held from January 21 to 24, 2025 in the meeting room of Matcheu Palace H\u00f4tel in Yaound\u00e9.<\/p>\n

These micro-intervention leaders, who are multipliers, were selected on the basis of several criteria, including the impact of the micro-intervention, the replicability of the micro-intervention in other intervention zones with other target groups, the number of beneficiaries to be reached, the relevance of the micro-intervention, the profile of the candidates, attendance at training courses, outreach and interaction with master trainers and other multipliers, and finally, the ability to use digital tools. The 20 selected are multipliers.ces, a group of Agri-preneurs specialized in the production of inputs and seeds, as well as in the extension of agro-ecological products. Their aim is to promote and disseminate innovative and constructive initiatives in organic farming and agroecology in their various areas of intervention. <\/p>\n

These multipliers are endowed with endogenous knowledge. They stand out for their determination to promote organic and agro-ecological products, and for their commitment to sustainable environmental management through resilient farming practices based on traditional and ancestral peasant knowledge. <\/span><\/p>\n

Happily elected, MAITEMWA Garbele, a teacher and multiplier in the Far North, more precisely in the locality of Guidiguis, affirms: <\/span>” <\/span><\/i> It’s reassuring to feel we’re being treated as employees, but not as women. We are able to give our point of view on strategic issues and we defend it. We’re also encouraged by the men who don’t hesitate to share their knowledge of organic farming with us. Today I have a small factory producing organic inputs”. <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

The 20 ambassadors chosen during this process have a positive influence on their localities and carry out actions to promote sustainable management of production systems, becoming role models in their respective communities.<\/p>\n

This workshop, dedicated to the selection of micro-intervention promoters, enabled multipliers to gain a better understanding of the micro-intervention concept and to identify the key activities to be carried out. <\/p>\n

The die has already been cast for these twenty (20) committed multipliers.<\/p>\n
