Program of Support to Economic Initiatives Contributing to the Ecological and Social Transformation of Rural Territories (PAIES)
Since January 2016, Inades-Formation Burundi is implementing the « Program of Support to Economic Initiatives Contributing to the Ecological and Social Transformation of Rural Territories », in acronym PAIES.
It is a regional program implemented in the Sahel and the Great Lakes region, which is being implemented by 5 partner organizations in Burundi, Rwanda and North Kivu in the DRC.
Inades -Formation Burundi ensures the follow-up and coordination of the program in its region.
The aim is to validate local experiments on agro-ecological practice, with exchanges of experience for the benefit of the less experienced organizations. In other words, it is a question of building an agro-ecological approach with all partners, in a learning logic, through exchanges of experiences, capitalization work, learning from successes, Failures and create collective expertise.
The beneficiaries of the actions are the agri-breeders and fishermen who are members of the Community Organizations (CBOs) and Peasant Organizations (OPs), accompanied by the hills of Nyamugari and Kigoma and more generally the households of the said hills.
