Project to support the development of rural populations in Burundi through the promotion of Agricultural Cooperatives and savings and credit structures
Through this project, Inades-Formation Burundi supports the development of cooperatives and savings and credit structures. 15 agricultural cooperatives and 4 Solidarity Funds for Development (Fonsdev) are accompanied on the path to professionalization.
The aim of this support for the promotion and professionalisation of agricultural cooperatives and local credit savings initiatives is to improve the income and savings capacity of the beneficiaries. The latter are small producers, members of the 15 cooperatives and Fonsdev located in the provinces Kayanza, Ngozi, Kirundo, Muramvya, Gitega and Cibitoke.
The duration of the project is three years.
