Development of Youth Entrepreneurship and Resilience
In Tchad, poverty, unemployment, illiteracy and weak family structures contribute to making young men vulnerable to radicalization. According to the studies, young people are more tempted to make the adventure with Boko haram, as they hope to improve their living conditions. Concerned about this situation, Inades-Formation Chad has decided to undertake, with the help of its partners, actions that will help young people to have a better life.
The project « Development of youth entrepreneurship and resilience » is therefore aimed at helping to reduce the vulnerability of young people in communities around Lake Chad towards the Boko Haram sect by developing opportunities for youth entrepreneurship in the region. Market gardening and fishing.
The target audience consists of young people aged 15 to 24 and exposed to the threats and influence of the Boko Haram sect. More specifically, 500 young people interested in market gardening and fishing in the Lake Tchad basin sector. There are four sub-divisions in 02 regions that share the Lake Tchad basin, including sub-divisions of La-Loumia, Logoun Gana (Chari-Baguirmi region), Ndjamena Fara and Mani (Hadjer-Lamis region) .
The project is planned for a period of three years from 1 January 2017.
