A team from Enda Pronat team from Senegal visited Burkina Faso from October 02 to 08, 2025, to exchange views on the experience of INADES-Formation Burkina in implementing the “Gender equality throughagroecology in West Africa (EGALE AO)” project.

Pauline NDIAYE, Marie BANE, Dรฉbiya Ifra SOW are the members of the Senegalese delegation who took part in the exchange trip with INADES-Formation Burkina. They are involved in implementing the EGALE AO project in their country. The exchange trip took place in Dรฉdougou, Safanรฉ and Ouri, in the Bankui region.
The following sessions were organized: meeting with endogenous animators, exchanges on the Entrepreneuriat Semencier Paysan (ESP), the Dispositif de Contrรดle Endogรจne de la Qualitรฉ des semences (DCEQS), the conservation and valorization of local seeds, the functioning of the Unitรฉ de Production et de Gestion des Intrants Organiques (UPROGIO). The issue of access to land and land tenure security for women was also discussed. The team also visited a cooperative with whom discussions focused on the services provided to members, notably through the operation of the Savings and Credit Group (GEC).

The ENDA Pronat team was particularly interested in replicating INADES-Formation Burkina’s experience of working with endogenous animators. ” We need to rely on local resources to ensure that our actions are more firmly rooted in the communities ,” emphasized Pauline NDIAYE, head of the delegation.
ENDA Pronat’s experience in local advocacy for agroecology, self-managed funds and land management was also shared throughout the mission. Each member of the team from Senegal expressed his or her satisfaction with the exchange trip, and INADES-Formation Burkina was invited to initiate an exchange visit to ENDA Pronat.
