BURUNDI: INADES-Formation Burundi celebrates its golden jubilee
INADES-Formation Burundi, 50 years at the service of communities for responsible and sustainable development.

1975-2025, fifty years of INADES-Formation Burundi supporting development in Burundi.
INADES-Formation Burundi has had a direct and positive impact on the lives of more than 1,125,372 people over the past 5 decades, through training, awareness-raising, managerial support for farmers’ organizations and young people, and advocacy for sustainable, nutritious agriculture. A golden jubilee to celebrate.
The golden jubilee celebration began on December 18, 2025 with a thanksgiving mass in the parish of Saint Michel, the Chapelet Bene Bernadette.

The official launch of the Golden Jubilee activities took place on December 19, 2025 on the organization’s premises.
The event was honored by senior officials from the Ministry of the Environment, Agriculture and Livestock, the Bujumbura Provincial Administration, national and international NGOs, Associate Members, staff and the media.

The Director of INADES-Formation Burundi gave a brief overview of the organization’s history and the key dynamics that have marked its 50 years of service to the common good.
He warmly thanked his partners, with whom they had worked hand in hand to achieve results deemed satisfactory.
To find out more about the successes, learnings and innovations, he invited everyone to the celebration itself, scheduled for March 27, 2026 in Bujumbura.
The delegate of the Governor of Bujumbura Province and the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of the Environment, Agriculture and Livestock,

all delivered words of congratulation, encouragement and testimony to the good works of INADES-Formation Burundi. They all appreciated its initiatives to benefit grassroots communities and its close collaboration with state and non-state institutions for the integrated development of the rural world.
Last but not least, the launch day provided an opportunity for cross-fertilization between participants, as well as joy and conviviality around an INADES-Formation Burundi song unveiled on the same day.
This song was produced to serve as a tool for mobilizing people around the good practices and achievements promoted by the company.
