As part of its governance structure, the INADES-Formation network organizes various meetings of the institution’s management bodies every year. These include the Directors’ meeting, held twice a year.
This meeting, which brings together all the Directors of the ten National Offices, is a forum for exchanging ideas, sharing experiences, and putting forward proposals to improve the network’s operation and administration.
The second meeting of 2024 was held from October 2 to 4 at the Hotel M’maya in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.
A place to discuss topics of general interest to the network
According to the General Secretary, the Directors’ meeting is a forum for all Directors to discuss issues of general interest to the entire network. It is on this occasion that certain subjects are put on the table, such as management audits, project operations, the construction of institutional governance tools, as well as reflections on the future of the institution.
This is an important meeting for the network.
During the meeting, the Directors discussed issues relating to the management and organization of the institution, as well as ongoing institutional projects. They worked on improving the outline of the annual work plan, took stock of the implementation of the recommendations of the last General Meeting, and reviewed the progress of the capitalization of the institutional journey.
They also discussed the drafting of the network’s Strategic Orientation Document to 2040. This document will define the institution’s positioning and strategic orientations for the next 15 years, and will be drafted by each national association.
After 4 days of intense work, the Directors expressed their satisfaction with the meeting and their participation.
The results of their reflections will for the most part be submitted to the International Board of Directors meeting to be held in November.
