Support program to strengthen agricultural production capacity and monitoring and monitoring of farmers’ unions for sustainable agriculture in the provinces of Kwilu and Mai-Ndombe
The objectives of the program are to:
- Ensuring food security for agricultural households,
- Contribute to the increase in household income,
- Stimulate the self-determination of the farmers’ organizations involved.

In terms of activities, the aim is to sensitize and support farmers’ organizations in the development of seed entrepreneurship, from production to seed marketing for access to quality seeds; Learning and adopting resilient cultural techniques, strengthening monitoring capacities in the unions, supporting the creation of a synergy framework, and strengthening the role of women and young farmers, etc.
7 peasant unions composed of 147 basic POs, with 3145 members are the beneficiaries of this program which will last 3 years.
The zone of action extends over 2 provinces:
