Inades-Formation Togo is a support and coaching NGO operating in Togo for nearly 50 years. Since 2016, Inades-Formation has partnered with CBM to promote inclusion in development actions. As part of the implementation of the ” Food security and inclusive resilience in Togo ” in collaboration with CBM , Inades-Formation Togo is looking for a qualified person to fill the position listed below.
Job title: Accounting Assistant
Place of assignment Dapaong or Kara
Project area : Kara and Savanes regions.
Contract duration 1 year with possibility of renewal.
Reporting to the Project Manager, the main responsibilities of ” the Accounting Assistant ” are as follows :
- Lead the team’s administrative department in the project area (Collect, process, file and archive project team documents) ;
- Check the project team’s expense claims ;
- Manage the project team’s accounts ;
- Check the logbook for project vehicles ;
- Coordinate the project’s financial department ;
- Support the periodic preparation of the project budget;
- Participate in the drafting of the project’s financial reports ;
- Manage the project team’s cash register;
- Scan accounting documents ;
- Periodically prepare bank reconciliation statements on the bank account in the zone;
- Support the organization of project workshops in ;
- Carry out other delegated responsibilities as required.
RESEARCH PROFILE
Applications may be submitted by any male or female who meets the following criteria:
- Be of Togolese nationality
- Minimum level of education: BAC + 3 in auditing, management control, finance, business management accounting, accounting control auditing or equivalent ;
- At least two (2) years’ professional experience in an accounting and financial management position;
- Experience of working with NGOs and/or associations;
- Good writing skills and concise presentation ;
- Good character and integrity;
- Teamwork skills and willingness to travel frequently within the country.
- Good computer skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Saari, Compta 100 and Internet) ;
- Have a category B driving license.
NB :Fluency in English and knowledge of the procedures of some technical and financial partners are assets.
