The effectiveness of the “Transition vers une Agroécologie Paysanne au service de la Souveraineté Alimentaire (TAPSA II)” program depends on the active involvement of the various community development players. This is why a workshop for reflection and exchange on the governance of natural resources was organized on October 31, 2024 in the capital of the province of Kirundo, under the High Patronage of the Councillor of the Governor of Kirundo in charge of Development Kirundo in charge of Development.
The aim of the workshop was to harmonize environmental protection and sustainable management of natural resources in the Kirundo region. It also aimed to ensure that the TAPSA program’s achievements were effectively appropriated by the beneficiaries, so as to ensure their sustainability.
