In an ever-changing context, where anticipation is essential to better meet future challenges, self-evaluation is a must for all development players. ” Self-assessment of activities is a well-established tradition at INADES-Formation, but by no means a routine”, emphasized Mrs Sélome ADOUSSI HOUETOGNON, Director of the National Office (DBN), as she opened the workshop for self-assessment of actions carried out in 2024.
The event was officially launched on February 3, 2025 by Mrs. Akossiwa ALAGBO-AMELIFO, Vice-Chairwoman of the Board of Directors and member of the “Food system based on family farming” commission. She began by congratulating the team on their hard work, before outlining the objectives of the exercise, which is intended to be educational: to analyze the results achieved in relation to forecasts (PTA 2024, specific projects), to assess the BN’s technical and institutional performance in the light of the results recorded, and to prepare for the start of the 2025 financial year by programming activities.
The team was honored to receive a visit from the PCA, Mr. Iyatan SABI. In his speech, he congratulated and encouraged the staff, while inviting them to reflect in depth on the following question: how do the actions of INADES-Formation Togo contribute to generating a social movement?
He also urged the associate delegates to engage in constructive reflection and criticism, so that the institution’s interventions would have an even greater impact on improving the living conditions of communities.
A total of 14 projects were carried out this year with the support of partners Misereor, ASTM, BMZ, CBM, Inter Pares, SUCO, AEF, BROOKE and many other technical partners. They will all be presented and their state of implementation discussed. This will be followed by a presentation and discussion of the institutional development program.
Work will end next Friday, February 7, 2025.
