Inades-Formation in its actions to contribute to the fight against climate change has launched, in 2018, the project “Study-capitalization of good practices in the face of the challenges of climate change and local governance in sub-Saharan Africa”. This project has made it possible to capitalize on 50 experiences (31 field experiences and 19 governance experiences) in 11 countries in Africa and carried out by a diversity of actors including public services specialized in environmental and climate change management, civil society organizations and farmers’ organizations.
To follow up on this project and allow communities to scale up the experiences capitalized, a second phase of the project is launched. Entitled ” Project to support the scaling up of experiences developed by communities and dynamics of citizen monitoring of public policies in response to the problem of climate change in sub-Saharan Africa “. This second phase will run from 2022-2024.
The project has two pillars, the first of which is to scale up these good experiences developed by communities in African countries, in terms of adaptation, mitigation and resilience to climate change; the second pillar is to support the dynamics of citizen monitoring of policy and regulatory frameworks associated
After the call for projects launched in 2022, seventeen (17) microprojects were selected and are financially supported for their implementation in 11 countries: Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, DR Congo, Kenya, Rwanda, Senegal, Tanzania, Chad, Togo.
Inades-Formation is organizing this regional workshop to enable the actors/carriers of these microprojects to appropriate the instructions and procedures for the technical and financial management of their microprojects, with a view to a more effective and efficient implementation with greater impact for the beneficiaries.
The workshop is being held in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, from March 13 to 17, 2023.

After the call for projects launched in 2022, seventeen (17) micro-projects were selected and are financially supported for their implementation in 11 countries: Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, DR Congo, Kenya, Rwanda, Senegal, Tanzania, Chad, Togo
It is to allow the actors-carriers of these micro-projects to appropriate the instructions and the technical and financial management procedures of their micro-projects, with a view to a more effective, efficient implementation and with more impacts for the beneficiaries that Inades-Formation organizes the regional workshop for exchanges on micro-projects and sharing of management procedures.
