The Non Governmental Organization Inades-Formation Cameroon is engaged with the German technical cooperation GIZ in the planning of the activities of the project “Knowledge Cluster of Organic Agriculture in Central Africa”.

This project is structured around three main components or Outputs:

  • The collection, validation and preparation of traditional and scientific knowledge on the production, processing and marketing of organic products.
  • The adaptation and dissemination of knowledge and good practices to the context of the participating countries.
  • The formation of a network of key actors in the value chains of Organic Agriculture in the different countries of Central Africa.

The implementation of this innovative project was marked by a planning workshop held in Bafoussam from October 11 to 15, 2021. The participants in the workshop were representatives of the five (5) partner organizations implementing the project, namely: the African Institute for Economic and Social Development (Inades-Formation Cameroon), the Service d’Appui aux Initiatives Locales de Développement (SAILD), the Centre International pour la Promotion de la Création (CIPCRE), the Centre Polyvalent de Formation (CPF) and the Groupement d’Appui pour le Développement Durable (GADD) among others…

The workshop resulted in a harmonized understanding of the actions to be taken, and especially a distribution of actors among different member organizations for implementation by output.

1. What is it?

The African Rural Development Fund (ARDF) was established on July 23, 1997 in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania, following the realization that Africa’s development can only be achieved through self-financing.

FondAfrica is an appeal to public generosity through collection actions from natural and legal persons.

2. Why make a donation?

FondAfrica is a particular instrument of Inades-Formation’s financing strategy. FondAfrica a formulé sa vision à moyen terme ainsi qu’il suit « In 10 years, thanks to the income from the funds collected by Fondafrica, Inades-Formation will have increased its self-financing capacity for services rendered to the African rural world to 40 % ».
