As part of capacity building for its partners in Africa, ASTM is organizing a seminar in Togo in July. To this end, it launches a call for applications to recruit a consultant trainer .
TRAINING AIMS
1/ General objective
The general objective of the training is to strengthen the capacities of ASTM partners in Togo and Burkina Faso in the Human Rights-Based Approach (HRBA). It should allow them to familiarize themselves with the approach and provide them with the necessary tools for its application.
2/ Specific objectives
This training should enable partners to:
Become familiar with the Human Rights-Based Approach and its fundamentals;
Know and master the working principles of the ABDH;
Equip themselves, through practical cases and simulations based, among other things, on their own actions, with a view to implementing the HRBA in the daily management of their programs/projects;
Be equipped with the necessary know-how for integrating HRBA into their strategic planning;
To take the measure of the place of gender in the ABDH and to know how to systematize the consideration of this dimension.
CONSULTANT PROFILE
The service provider must prove that:
Proven experience in the Rights-Based Approach;
Demonstrated experience in organizational development and strengthening;
Proven know-how in the design and conduct of HRBA-oriented programs/projects;
Proven experience in the technique of integrating HRBA into strategic planning;
A mastery of the different methods/approaches of program/project management (Logical framework, RBM, ToC, etc.);
In-depth knowledge of the socio-political contexts of Burkina Faso and Togo and their consideration in an ABDH-oriented approach (human rights);
In-depth knowledge of the international cooperation and NGO sector;
A good knowledge of the Burkinabè and Togolese CSO communities, or even West Africans in general, is an asset.
