This is the very first activity in the run-up to Inades-Formation Togo putting its courses on line: the workshop to update the training curricula for the professions of poultry farmer, beekeeper and market gardener, held from 27 to 28 November 2023 at the Saint Lazaros Hotel in Lomé. The activity is part of the implementation of the “Renforcement et Rénovation du Dispositif d’Ingénierie de Formation Agricole et Rurale à Distance” REDIFARD project, financed by AFD through the FAR network.
To update the curricula as part of this project, Inades-Formation Togo has opted for the Approche Par Compétence-Développing A CUrriculuM (APC-DACUM), which involves a group of expert practitioners who will identify the skills required to practise their trade or profession.
Twenty-four professionals from qualified trades, training centres, experts/trainers and government bodies – the Ministry of Technical Education, the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Rural Development, the Ministry of the Environment and Forest Resources and the Ministry of Grassroots Development, Youth and Youth Employment – are taking part in this workshop. They are divided into 3 groups of 8 people each, including 5 professionals in the field, a trainer from an agricultural training centre in the field, a technical education inspector and a representative from the Department of Pedagogy and Programmes (DPP).
