Brief presentation of Inades-Formation

Inades-Formation is a non-governmental development organization based in Abidjan, with offices in ten African countries.

Its mission is “to work for the economic and social development of populations, giving particular importance to their free participation in the transformation of their society”. Its areas of action are: food systems based on family farming, inclusive governance, resilience to climate change, community microfinance.

To strengthen its communications team, Inades-Formation’s General Secretariat is looking for a Communications Assistant.

Status: young professional

Nature and duration of contract: Renewable fixed-term contract (CDD)

Job Description:

The Communications Assistant’s main task will be to assist the General Secretariat’s Communications Manager in planning and implementing communications activities, with a particular focus on digital communications.

  • He/she will participate in the creation of institutional and project communication media as well as visuals for social networks;
  • Create content for the website and social networks based on the institution’s projects, activities and themes.
  • He/she will contribute to the writing of articles and to the animation of the website and newsletters.
  • He/she will participate in the strategic thinking and planning of communication campaigns

Place of employment: Abidjan, Cocody Angré château


  • At least BAC +2 in communications, computer graphics, journalism or equivalent
  • A very good level of written and spoken French
  • Good writing skills
  • Social networking skills
  • Practical knowledge of computer graphics with a fairly good command of visual creation tools (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Knowledge of video shooting and editing would be an asset.

1. What is it?

The African Rural Development Fund (ARDF) was established on July 23, 1997 in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania, following the realization that Africa’s development can only be achieved through self-financing.

FondAfrica is an appeal to public generosity through collection actions from natural and legal persons.

FondAfrica is a particular instrument of Inades-Formation’s financing strategy. FondAfrica a formulé sa vision à moyen terme ainsi qu’il suit « In 10 years, thanks to the income from the funds collected by Fondafrica, Inades-Formation will have increased its self-financing capacity for services rendered to the African rural world to 40 % ».
