In the framework of the reinforcement of its staff, Inades-Formation Togo, a support and training NGO operating throughout the national territory with areas of concentration mainly in rural areas, is looking for a qualified person (M/F) to fill the vacancy presented below.

Job Description:

Job Title: Executive trainer ” Program officer in charge of the support to the agro-ecological transition and the reinforcement of the climatic resilience – PATARRC “
Place of employment: National Directorate of Inades-Formation Togo, Lomé.
Duration of the contract: one-year renewable contract that can lead to a permanent contract.
Remuneration of the candidate: According to the grid of Inades-Formation Togo.
Start date: The position is available immediately.

Responsibilities:
Under the responsibility of the Director of the National Office (DBN), the Executive Trainer, “Program Officer for the Support to Agroecological Transition and Climate Resilience Building – PATARRC” is responsible for the animation of the program with the following main responsibilities

1. Coordination of the activities of the Program to support the agro-ecological transition and the strengthening of climate resilience – PATARRC

– Ensure the research and development of products and services under the program through the design, implementation and evaluation of specific projects:
– Identify (initiate ideas), design and formulate innovative projects for the operationalization and achievement of program objectives;
– Seek and negotiate partnerships to strengthen program achievements and performance;
– Lead the development of Annual Work Plans (AWPs) and project budgets, monitor the programming and implementation of activities (including budget execution) and oversee periodic monitoring and review, annual evaluation and propose any adjustments (including reallocation of resources).

– Ensure the management of human, material and financial resources of the program:
– Propose the constitution of project teams and manage their implementation (analyze workloads and express human resource needs, empower stakeholders);
– Ensure the methodological coaching of the project teams and supervise the production of supports/tools for the implementation of the projects;
– Ensure the training of project team members and provide them with the necessary support and advice;
– Supervise the work of the various project teams and ensure periodic evaluations;
– Participate in the implementation of the program’s project activities.

– Coordinate activities related to monitoring, evaluation of results and impacts of actions/projects and capitalization/learning from program experiences:
– To ensure the implementation and the animation of the monitoring-evaluation system of the program and the projects;
– Capitalize on and disseminate the good practices and induced changes recorded in the implementation of the program;
– Contribute to the definition of the National Office (NO) performance indicators and raise awareness of these indicators among the program’s project teams;
– Produce periodic technical and financial reports on the program’s projects.

2. Participate in strategic thinking and resource mobilization for the implementation of the institutional strengthening plan.

3. Representing Inades-Formation Togo in bodies dealing with issues related to natural resource management, agro-ecological transition, environment and climate change and any other relevant field of the program.

4. Inform and communicate about the program’s activities and the promotion of Inades-Formation Togo, in collaboration with the communication officer.

5. Carrying out, as required, any other delegated responsibilities.

Profile required
Any male or female who meets the following criteria may apply:
– be between 30 and 45 years old;
– be of Togolese nationality;
– Have a minimum of a BAC + 5 in agronomy, biology, forestry, geology, environmental sciences or other equivalent degrees;
– Have a professional experience of at least seven (7) years with at least two (2) years in a position of responsibility in the field of climate, agro-ecology, environmental protection and natural resource management;
– have a strong capacity in fundraising (identification of opportunities, drafting of projects and negotiation);
– have a good capacity in monitoring-evaluation-capitalization of development programs and projects;
– have a capacity in human resources management;
– Experience in adult education, group facilitation and workshop moderation;
– have experience of working in the world of NGOs and/or associations;
– have good writing skills and be concise in his interventions;
– have integrity and good character;
– have a good capacity to work under pressure;
– Have teamwork skills and be willing to travel frequently within the country and even outside the country;
– Have a good knowledge of computer tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Internet, …);
– have a category B driver’s license.

NB: Fluency in English and knowledge of the procedures of some technical and financial partners are assets.

The candidate for the position must provide the following documents:
1. a cover letter (1 page);
2. a curriculum vitae of no more than five (5) pages with three references;
3. an unlegalized copy of up to three (3) diplomas and certificates of training related to the position;
4. an uncertified copy of up to three (3) previous employment certificates related to the position.
